The examples in this pattern have been crocheted using DK yarn (USA Light worsted) A great weight for a new baby (Aran weight yarn may also be used, but will result in a thicker, larger blanket).
Baby Blanket size Approx 30" W x 33" L.

Hook sizes 4.5mm, (Border 4mm or 3.5mm)
