I have used King Cole Comfort Chunky, this is a very soft yarn suitable for babies, any similar soft chunky weight (USA bulky) yarn may be used.
Alternative yarn suggestion - Baby Bee sweet delight chunky
BLANKET SIZE 24" x 26"
The blanket is the perfect size for a baby, it can be used in the moses basket, cot, stroller, or car seat.
The blanket size may be adjusted by working more or less chains and crocheting more or less rows.
The multiple number is given in the pattern.

Loved this pattern, easy to follow, easy to crochet. I did 60 stitches instead of 50 so had 30 puffs instead of 25 & I also did it in the James C Brett’s Flutterbys wool. It’s beautifully thick pram/car seat baby blanket.. I’m even tempted to do it as an adult blanket for the sofa.
All your patterns I’ve used have been easy to follow as I learnt to crochet a couple of years ago by watching YouTube, so never followed an actual pattern before. Did buy the US version though as I learnt in US terms but I’m sure the UK version would be just as easy.
