Part of the Bobble stitch collection, the Nordic Bobble Hat is so soft and cosy. Perfect for boys and girls, the hat can be worn with or without the Pompom.
I have designed the hat using a Chunky weight yarn, Aran weight yarn and DK weight yarn and included separate sizes for each yarn weight - 19 different sizes are included.
Most similar weight yarns may be used in UK yarns and USA yarns:
USA (Bulky) (worsted) (light worsted) weight yarns will work with this crochet pattern.
HAT SIZES INCLUDED: DK weight - Prem baby, Newborn, 0-3m, 3-6m, 9-12m.
Aran weight - All sizes from 0-3m up to Adult L
Chunky weight All sizes from 2-3y up to Adult L
YARNS: For the pattern examples, I have used 3 different yarn brands:
King Cole Timeless Chunky (USA Bulky weight) 100g
King Cole Comfort Aran (USA worsted weight) 100g
Peter Pan DK (USA Light worsted weight) 50g
CROCHET HOOK SIZES:
For Chunky/Bulky Hat use 7mm & 6mm (USA J/10 & I/9)
For Aran/Worsted Hat use 6mm & 5mm (USA I/9 & H/8)
For DK/light worsted Hat use 5mm & 4mm (USA H/8 & G/6) Or the size you need to achieve the correct gauge. Pattern includes a link to my detailed gauge tutorial.
