DAISY CROCHET BLANKET AND HAT PATTERN - The prettiest baby blanket ever!

The Daisy Blanket is a real stunner! Crocheted with alternate rows of cute flowers and contrasting bobbles! You can make it with stripes or ‘all in one colour’ if you prefer!
I have added a sweet shell stitch border for even more prettiness, but if you prefer a straight edge, just leave it off and add two rounds of Htr stitches instead!
I have included the ‘multiple number’ in pattern for altering the size of the blanket 😊
I have also added a matching hat for you to make, with sizes from birth up to 18 months.

The examples in this pattern have been crocheted using DK yarn (USA Light worsted) A great weight for a new baby (Aran weight yarn may also be used, but will result in a thicker, larger blanket). Yarn amounts given in pattern are for a DK blanket.

Yarn used for pattern example: Peter Pan DK 50g x 7 Balls
Hat - 1 x 50g Ball for all sizes - Prem baby 5/6 LB, Newborn, 0-3m, 3-6m, 6-12m, 12-18m.
Scraps of contrast needed for the edging.
Yarn recomendations: Peter Pan DK 50g, King Cole Comfort DK 100g, Paintbox DK, Stylecraft Special DK for babies, in fact most other soft DK yarns of a similar weight may be used.
Baby Blanket size Approx 25" W x 28" L. Can be made to any size as multiple number given in pattern.
