Designed by me during the Coronavirus lockdown, this little Jacket represents fun and freedom to play outside again.
A warm and cosy Jacket, made to be worn throughout the year :-)
I have designed the jacket “all in one piece” so there are no seams or making up to do, only the appliques to sew on once the Jacket is complete.
I have used 2 colours of soft Aran weight yarn for the jacket and 2 colours of DK weight for the appliques, a great pattern for using up your yarn scraps!

Aran weight yarn 100g Balls. (USA Worsted)
Most similar Aran yarns (USA worsted weight) will work with this pattern.
Appliques – I used Stylecraft DK (USA Light worsted weight)
Or use your own yarn scraps in colours of your choice.
(3-6 M - Main colour: 1 ball, contrast colour 1 ball)
(6-12 M - Main colour: 2 balls, contrast colour 1 ball)
(1-2 Y - Main colour: 2 balls, contrast colour 1 ball)
(2-3 Y - Main colour: 2 balls, contrast colour 1 ball)
(3-4 Y - Main colour: 3 balls, contrast colour 1 ball)
(5-6 Y - Main colour: 3 balls, contrast colour 1 ball)
(7-8 Y - Main colour: 3 balls, contrast colour 1 ball)
